Title II of the Social Security Act is incorporated by reference herein and made a part thereof as if the same had been set out in full herein, and the benefits extended to the city employees of Eudora.

Resolution No. 3 adopted by the governing body April 27, 1970, and duly published, which resolution extends the benefits of the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System to the employees of the city is incorporated by reference herein and made a part thereof as if the same had been set out in full herein.

(a)   The City of Eudora in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 12-16,102 does hereby establish an employee benefits contribution fund for the purpose of paying the City’s share of employee benefits.

(b)   The City’s share of the cost of employee benefits authorized for payment from the fund created in subsection (a) shall include the following:

(1)   Social Security (FICA and Medicare);

(2)   Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS);

(3)   Kansas Police and Firemen’s Retirement System (KP&F);

(4)   Worker’s Compensation benefits;

(5)   Employment Security (unemployment compensation) benefits;

(6)   Premiums for Health Insurance;

(7)   Employee Wellness Program benefits;

(8)   Employee Assistance Program benefits;

(9)   Flexible Spending Program costs;

(10) Health Savings Account Program costs;

(11) Applicable Post-Employment benefits.
